indigo...

indigo...
A collection of words from the journal of Haitian born artist - painter Hertz Nazaire.
Indigo is collection of life's bitter sweet contradictions; prose, poems, short stories and love letters inspired by unconditional love, unrequited love, struggles with faith, illness, grief, loss, and deep human suffering.
Indigo... Stories that touch, heal, and uplift a damaged spirit.

indigo poetry...
My name is Poet but I do not know much about the rules of Poetics... All I wish to know is how to free words until they can touch others in places unknown to the flesh. In my words I express what is true about my heart's hardships and as always true to myself without limits or censorship. Being an artist words have always taken the place of what I would have desired to paint on canvas with with color if I could afford the costly supplies. Words on the other hand are free and I have found like paint they also possess much color. I want to share with you the color of my Life, "indigo..."

indigo short stories...
Art and Poetry can only come from life's sweet experiences those sweet contradictions that my soul came to endure. Giving you a window into what inspired me to create my Art. Stories of the loving women in my life... I can't write of anything else, for I am a disciple of Women. You will find my stories to be about the many ways I love Strong Black and Haitian Women. Stories of deeper loves, strong passions, pain, loneliness, sexual desires, human suffering and being Haitian in Darkness... My stories are intended to serve as inspiration for healing pain and suffering.

To all the girls I have loved and to the women who showed me what true love could become and if even for a short time my loneliness soon became a memory. Thank you all for allowing me to be me... like any other man... I want to be loved. Because of your love I have been Poet, Artist, Painter... and Lover.

To all of my Haitian People, Peyi Mwen, thank you for inspiring me to be a little French, a little Creole, but always purely Haitian and deeply romantic for the sake of healing deep poverty, hunger and pain.

Above all this book is dedicated to Love and Healing for little birds with broken wings...
